How did you come up with your name and number?
My girlfriend said I should pick a name having to do with my blonde hair, and Goldie Knocks popped right into my head! 667 I borrowed from a clothing brand a cousin used to have – one step ahead of the devil! lol
When did you start playing roller derby/get involved with roller derby? How did you get involved?
I joined Big Easy in January of 2022 with a significant amount of post-pandemic depression and zero skating experience. I was looking for something social, active, and challenging, and roller derby checked all those boxes. It’s been a tremendous boost to both my physical and mental health.
What position on the track do you play/prefer?

Do you have any short term or long term derby goals??
To continue to improve enough to make the Allstar team.
What do you like to do after a game?
Continue to enjoy the adrenaline rush at the after party!
What does your life look like outside of roller derby?
I’m a freelance photographer and social media manager professionally. In my free time I like gardening, traveling, rock climbing, cooking, sewing…the list goes on.
What is some advice you’d give to someone who may be interested in joining roller derby?
You can do it! I didn’t even know how to skate when I started. You’ll fall a lot, but you’ll also get back up, and you’ll get stronger every time you skate.
